2019 Plans

We have some exciting things planned for 2019….

Gabe’s running challenge:

Our middle child, Gabe, who is 12, has embarked on a running challenge, which you can read about here.

Matt’s plans:

Matt has a wealth of events booked, including the Leicester half marathon, which he aced on Feb 17th, the Leaden Boot, his now annual fundraising fell marathon, Man vs Coast, Man vs Mountain and Man vs Lakes and the Rat Race Dirty Weekend.  The mind boggles!

Nicki & Stu’s PBC 100:

Nicki is busy training for a 190 mile journey around the Peak District National Park.  She will be running (and walking) with a Peak District Mountain Ranger, who is also head of the Spine Race safety department, Stu Westfield. The two aim to complete their hilly journey within around 100 hours.

Duchenne Dip:

We are hoping there will be a Duchenne Dip again this year.  The previous two have been a major success, seeing young people up to the age of 18, blast their way up and down the pool in Melton, raising thousands of pounds in the process.  You can read about our previous Duchenne Dip events here.
