Thanks for stopping by to see what we are up to!

There has been a hiatus in our fundraising activities as there has been lots of change in the Lygo household – house moves, preparations for university, and Nicki has had a significant health challenge over the last couple of years.

But now we are back and already in the run-up to our next challenge. Maddy, our now 23 year-old, has signed up for her first 100km walk! She will be attempting the Thames path challenge on September 13th. Her training is well underway and in a fit of madness, I have decided to join her for the second half – the overnight 50km walk. My fitness has significantly dropped over recent years as, on top of my Crohn’s disease, I received another autoimmune diagnosis that is slowly causing my kidneys to fail. I’m not quite sure how things will look in the future, but I am taking this challenge on with the blessing of my renal consultant. So please wish Maddy and I luck in our respective challenges!
